DenverBroncos.com is taking a look back at some of the top moments from Nix's first season with the Broncos.

Following standout 2024 campaigns, Surtain and Nix are eligible for season awards. 

The 12th-overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Nix led all rookies in completions, passing yards, touchdown passes and total touchdowns during the regular season.

"Bo was a pro the minute he walked in the building for rookie minicamp," General Manager George Paton said. "You saw the poise throughout the season, poise beyond his years."

Nix led all rookie quarterbacks in completions, passing yards, touchdown passes and total touchdowns, and he ranked second in passer rating. His 29 touchdown passes were the second most by a rookie in league history.

As Bo Nix reflected on his rookie season, the chance to gain valuable lessons from 18 starts across the regular season and playoffs was among the biggest takeaways from a prolific first campaign.

"I think what's key is — what I've learned from 'Bama and what could translate here — is just playing our brand of football," Surtain said.

After a lights-out performance in the Broncos' 38-0 playoff-clinching win over the Chiefs, Nix circled the lower bowl at Empower Field at Mile High to slap hands with the remaining fans.

Nix completed 24-of-31 passes for 219 yards, three touchdowns and a 114.9 passer rating on Saturday. 

Nix has recorded six games with 200 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, which ties C.J. Stroud and Justin Herbert for the most such games by a rookie since at least 1950.

"He's so tough," Mike McGlinchey said of Nix. "He's so smart [and] put [together]. He's everything you want. Him in that moment, he didn't even blink."

The playoffs don't begin for several more weeks, but it may feel like the postseason on Sunday in Denver.
