ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After winning NFL Rookie of the Week in back-to-back weeks, Bo Nix has been nominated for the honor for Week 12.
Nix earned the nomination for the seventh time this season after a strong performance against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. The Broncos' rookie quarterback previously won the award following standout performances in Week 10 vs. the Kansas City Chiefs and Week 11 vs. the Atlanta Falcons.

In the Broncos' 29-19 win, Nix completed 25-of-42 passes for 273 yards, two touchdowns and a 94.6 passer rating. Nix now leads all rookie quarterbacks with five games this season in which he has recorded 200-plus passing yards, 2-plus passing touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Nix also joined elite company on Sunday when he became just the fifth quarterback over the last 10 years to record 20-plus total touchdowns and two or fewer turnovers in a 10-game span within a season. Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes are the only other quarterbacks to accomplish that feat during the timeframe. The rookie also joined Peyton Manning as the only Broncos quarterbacks since at least 1970 to throw at least eight touchdowns in a three-game span without throwing an interception.
In the Rookie of the Week category, Nix is competing against Washington's Jayden Daniels, Chicago's Caleb Williams, Tampa Bay's Bucky Irving, Miami's Chop Robinson and Tennessee's Jarvis Brownlee Jr.
No Broncos rookie has ever earned the award in three consecutive weeks.
