ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Bo Nix has reached another impressive milestone in his rookie campaign.

The quarterback has won the NFL's Rookie of the Week award for his performance in Denver's 29-19 victory over the Raiders, becoming the first Bronco to ever win the award in three consecutive weeks.

Nix previously won the award following standout performances in Week 10 vs. the Chiefs and Week 11 vs. the Falcons.

Nix earned the honor after a strong outing on the road in Week 12, as he completed 25-of-42 passes for 273 yards, two touchdowns and a 94.6 passer rating in the victory. Denver trailed Las Vegas at halftime, and Nix led the Broncos to a pair of second-half touchdown drives to help secure the team's first season sweep of the Raiders since 2014. The rookie quarterback also did not throw an interception, and his 8-0 touchdown-to-interception ratio leads all NFL quarterbacks since Week 10.

With the Week 12 honor, Nix became the first Broncos quarterback to win the award three times, surpassing two-time winner Tim Tebow. His three honors this season are the second-most all-time by a Broncos rookie, trailing only former running back Knowshon Moreno, who won the weekly award four times in 2009.

Nix was one of the six finalists for the Week 12 award. He won a fan vote over Washington's Jayden Daniels, Chicago's Caleb Williams, Tampa Bay's Bucky Irving, Miami's Chop Robinson and Tennessee's Jarvis Brownlee Jr.
