Nix led all rookie quarterbacks in completions, passing yards, touchdown passes and total touchdowns, and he ranked second in passer rating. His 29 touchdown passes were the second most by a rookie in league history.

After earning the starting job in training camp, the Oregon product led the Broncos to their first 10-win season and first playoff appearance since 2015.

Nix is the only rookie quarterback in NFL history with multiple games with at least 300 passing yards, four touchdown passes and a passer rating of at least 140, and he is just the fourth rookie signal caller to earn Player of the Week honors multiple times.

In seven games, Nix threw multiple touchdown passes without throwing an interception, which is the most such games by a rookie in NFL history.

He finished the season completing 66.3 percent of his passes for 3,775 yards, 29 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and a 93.3 passer rating. He also ran the ball 92 times for 430 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Only Peyton Manning has thrown more touchdown passes in a season in Broncos history.

The 12th-overall pick, Nix won Rookie of the Week honors three times in 2024 and was nominated 10 times for the weekly award. He became the first player in Broncos history to win the award in three consecutive weeks.

Jacksonville's Brian Thomas Jr., Las Vegas' Brock Bowers, Tampa Bay's Bucky Irving, Washington's Jayden Daniels and the New York Giants' Malik Nabers are also nominated for Rookie of the Year.

Voting for the Rookie of the Year is open until Friday, Jan. 31 and the award will be presented during Super Bowl week.
