ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added a proven wide receiver to their practice squad.
Denver signed wide receiver John Brown to the practice squad, the team announced Tuesday.
The Broncos also released wide receiver Josh Malone from their practice squad.
The eighth-year receiver has caught 320 career passes for 4,748 yards and 31 touchdowns. In 2020, Brown started eight games for the Bills and caught 33 passes for 458 yards and three touchdowns.
Brown's most productive season came just two seasons ago, as he caught 72 passes for 1,060 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games for Buffalo.
The team protected the following players on their practice squad: WR Tyrie Cleveland, LB Curtis Robinson, G Austin Schlottmann and WR Seth Williams.
