ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos are bringing back a veteran tackle.
Denver re-signed tackle Matt Peart to a two-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.
Peart played 191 offensive snaps and appeared in all 17 games, including a pair of starts, for the Broncos in 2024. He also played 18 percent of the Broncos' special teams snaps.
He saw extensive action in Weeks 5 and 6, as he played 37 snaps in a win over the Raiders before starting a Week 6 contest against the Chargers and playing every snap.
The 2020 third-round pick spent the first four seasons of his career with the Giants, for whom he played 43 games and made seven starts.
Peart is the fourth player to re-sign with the Broncos ahead of the official start of free agency, as quarterback Jarrett Stidham, long snapper Mitchell Fraboni and defensive tackle D.J. Jones re-signed earlier this week.
