ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added a veteran specialist to their roster.
Denver has signed punter Matt Haack, the team announced Wednesday.
Haack, a ninth-year player, has appeared in 103 games for five different NFL teams during his career. He most recently played four games for the Giants in 2024, and he averaged 47.0 yards per punt and 39.0 net yards per punt across 21 kicks.
Haack began his NFL career with the Dolphins, for whom he played 64 games from 2017-2020. He averaged just shy of 40 net yards per punt and 44.7 yards per punt.
While in Miami, Haack played for new Broncos Special Teams Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach Darren Rizzi from 2017-18. Haack won an AFC Special Teams Player of the Week award in 2018 under Rizzi's tutelage.
Haack is the only punter currently on the Broncos' roster.
