ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos will have a pair of veterans available for Week 1.

Denver elevated fullback Mike Burton and wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey from the practice squad to active roster for Sunday's game in Seattle, the team announced Saturday.

Under the NFL's elevation rules, teams are permitted to elevate a pair of players for each week's game. Each player can be elevated a total of three times.

Burton and Humphrey each appeared in all 17 games for the Broncos last season. Burton played 63 percent of Denver's special teams snaps in addition to 18 percent of the Broncos' offensive plays. Humphrey caught 13 passes for 162 yards and three touchdowns last year during his first season in Denver.

The Broncos will kick off their season against the Seahawks on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. PT.
