ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added a defender to their game-day roster.
Denver elevated defensive lineman Matt Henningsen from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, the team announced Saturday.
The Broncos have elevated Henningsen for each of their last two matchups, but he has been inactive for both games.
A third-year player, Henningsen has appeared in 34 career games. He has recorded 40 tackles, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hits, two passes defensed and a sack.
The Broncos are scheduled to face the Chiefs on Sunday at 2:25 p.m. MT on CBS.
