ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have re-added a young defender to their roster.

Denver signed inside linebacker Alec Mock, the team announced Wednesday.

The Broncos waived outside linebacker Jaylon Allen with an injury settlement in a corresponding roster move.

Mock played 12 defensive snaps and recorded a quarterback hit in the Broncos' preseason win over the Colts.

He originally joined the team as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft, and he re-signed with the team in early August after being waived in June. Mock was then waived again on Monday.

He played collegiately at Air Force, where he recorded 93 tackles, five tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles and a touchdown in his final season of action.

Allen, an undrafted free agent, played six total snaps against the Colts.
