ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added a veteran wide receiver to their active roster ahead of a Week 3 game against the Buccaneers.

Denver promoted wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey from the practice squad to the active roster, the team announced Saturday.

The Broncos placed outside linebacker Baron Browning on injured reserve in a corresponding roster move. Browning was previously ruled out of Sunday's game with a foot injury.

Browning will be eligible to return in Week 7 against the Saints.

The Broncos also elevated running back Tyler Badie and defensive back Tanner McCalister for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay.

Humphrey has caught four passes for 50 yards through two games, which ranks third on the team. He was elevated for each of the Broncos' first two games.

Browning recorded five tackles and a tackle for loss in his 58 defensive snaps this season.

Badie appeared in his second career game in Week 2 and carried the ball once for 16 yards. He also caught one pass.

McCalister appeared in three games last season for Cleveland and recorded a pair of tackles.

The Broncos kick off against Tampa Bay at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday on FOX.
