ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Denver has called up a rookie inside linebacker for the second consecutive game.
The Broncos elevated inside linebacker Levelle Bailey from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Raiders, the team announced Saturday.
Denver also placed running back Tyler Badie on injured reserve. Badie did not practice ahead of Week 5 after being carted off the field in the first half of Denver's win over the Jets.
Badie will be eligible to return from IR beginning in Week 9.
Bailey, an undrafted player from Fresno State, made his NFL debut in Week 4 as he played 36 percent of the Broncos' special teams snaps.
Teams are permitted to elevate up to two players per game from the practice squad to active roster.
Denver faces the Las Vegas Raiders at 2:05 p.m. MT on Sunday on FOX.
