The Broncos will travel to face the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sept. 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. MT.

MATCHUP

The Broncos will wrap up their two-week road trip with a contest against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. Denver is coming of its first win of the 2024 season, and the team will look to add to this success to move back to .500.

After scoring a touchdown on the opening drive last week, Denver's offense could look to get off to another quick start in Week 4. Quarterback Bo Nix, who scored a rushing touchdown last week, is coming off his strongest performance of the season against Tampa Bay and could look to continue building positive momentum. Nix could aim to maintain his connection with wide receiver Courtland Sutton, who led the team in receiving yards in Week 3. After finding increased success with the run game last week, Denver could once again look to running backs Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie to make big plays.

Denver's defense, which recorded seven sacks during last week's win, has continued to show its potential to be disruptive. The unit will face a challenging Jets offense that features quarterback Aaron Rodgers and standout wide receiver Garrett Wilson. Cornerbacks Pat Surtain II and Riley Moss could look to limit downfield opportunities, while safety Brandon Jones could seek to make more big plays after recording an interception and fumble recovery last week.

Kicker and AFC Special Teams Player of the Week Wil Lutz connected on all four of his field goal attempts last week and could be a contributor again in this week's matchup.

INJURY UPDATE

The Broncos ruled out safety JL Skinner (ankle). Tight end Nate Adkins (shoulder) and wide receiver Josh Reynolds (Achilles) were upgraded to full participants and not assigned game statuses, indicating they should be available for the matchup.

For New York, offensive lineman Morgan Moses (knee) was ruled out, while linebacker C.J. Mosley (toe) is listed as doubtful.
