ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have waived punters Colby Wadman and Trevor Daniel, the team announced Thursday.
Sam Martin, whom the Broncos signed in free agency, is now the only punter on the team's roster.
Wadman held the punting job in Denver over the previous two seasons and appeared in 28 games for the Broncos. He averaged 38.7 net yards per punt during his career in Denver and 37.9 net yards per punt in 2019. The latter number ranked tied for 22nd in the NFL last year among players who had at least 50 attempts.
Martin, meanwhile, averaged 41.8 net yards per punt and ranked 10th in the league among punters with at least 50 attempts. He landed 40.8 percent of his punts inside the 20-yard line, compared to 37.2 percent for Wadman.
Trevor Daniel, who signed a future contract with the Broncos earlier this offseason, never appeared in a game for Denver.
