ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline, the Broncos have agreed to send a pass rusher to Arizona.

Denver has agreed to terms on a trade with the Cardinals to acquire a 2025 sixth-round pick in exchange for OLB Baron Browning, the team announced Monday. The deal is pending a physical.

A third-round pick in 2021, Browning has posted 9.5 sacks in 43 career games. He recorded seven tackles and one tackle for loss in two starts and five games this season.

Since Browning was placed on injured reserve following Week 2, Nik Bonitto replaced him in the starting lineup and has recorded six sacks over the last seven games.

The Broncos also feature veteran Jonathon Cooper and third-round pick Jonah Elliss at outside linebacker. Cooper has recorded 5.5 sacks this season, while Elliss has notched two sacks in his first season. First-year player Dondrea Tillman also has contributed a pair of sacks through Week 9.
