In the Broncos' 38-6 win, Nix completed 28-of-33 passes for 307 yards, four touchdowns and a 145.0 passer rating. Nix is the first rookie in NFL history to throw for at least 300 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80 percent of his passes. Nix is also just the third quarterback in Broncos history to post such a stat line.

Nix also became the first Broncos quarterback since 2016 to throw for four touchdowns and 300 yards in a game, and he posted the second-highest single-game passer rating in franchise history.

The Oregon product joined Peyton Manning as the only rookies in NFL history to throw for 200 yards and multiple touchdowns in four consecutive home games.

Nix has been nominated in six of the 11 weeks this season, and he earned the award for the first time following Week 10.

Denver's rookie quarterback is also up for FedEx Air Player of the Week.

In the Rookie of the Week category, Nix is competing against New England's Drake Maye, Chicago's Caleb Williams, the Los Angeles Chargers' Ladd McConkey, Las Vegas' Brock Bowers and the Los Angeles Rams' Kamren Kinchens.
