In a 16-14 defeat, Nix completed 22-of-30 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns. Nix's 115.3 passer rating was his highest in a road game in his young career.

Nix was particularly impressive in the first half, as he led Denver to a pair of second-quarter touchdown drives. At halftime, Nix was 14-of-20 for 160 yards, two touchdowns and a 127.1 passer rating.

Late in the game, Nix led the Broncos on a 13-play drive to set up a game-winning field-goal attempt. He completed passes on a pair of third downs on the possession to keep the drive alive, including a 13-yard completion on third-and-6 to Courtland Sutton that allowed Denver to drain the clock.

Nix completed 9-of-10 passes for six first downs, 83 yards, two touchdowns and a 140.8 passer rating on third down in Week 10. He is the first Denver quarterback since at least 1991 to have a 90-plus completion percentage and a passer rating of 140.0 on third down. Two-time MVP Lamar Jackson is the only other player to accomplish that feat in 2024.

"I'm not really surprised with anything that kid does anymore," tight end Adam Trautman said Monday. "He's been unbelievable under pressure in all those games. Even when we're down, you felt it the week before in Baltimore. You've felt it all year. It shows extreme poise, and he has confidence in what we're doing and the game plan and in his ability and in our offense's ability. … You can't say enough good things about him and that's how everyone feels in this building — and we should. He's earned the right to that. We believe in him, and he's been impressive."

Nix has been nominated for the award five times through 10 weeks. He also earned nominations after wins over the Buccaneers, Raiders, Saints and Panthers.

Nix is the lone quarterback nominated for the Week 10 award. The Buccaneers' Bucky Irving, Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr., 49ers' Ricky Pearsall, Texans' Kamari Lassiter and Rams' Jared Verse are also nominated.
