ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After a four-touchdown performance against the Falcons, quarterback Bo Nix has been voted a FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week for Week 11, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Nix completed 28-of-33 passes for 307 yards, four touchdowns and a 145.0 passer rating in the 38-6 victory.

New Orleans' Taysom Hill also earned FedEx Air & Ground honors for Week 11.

With his Week 11 performance, Nix became the first rookie in NFL history to complete at least 80 percent of his passes while throwing for four touchdowns and 300 yards in a game. Nix became just the third quarterback in franchise history to post those numbers, and he was the first to throw for 300 yards and four touchdowns in a game since 2016. He is now tied for the most touchdown passes by a rookie in franchise history.

Nix's 145.0 passer rating is also the second-highest single-game mark recorded by a Broncos quarterback.

Nix is the first Broncos quarterback to earn the nod since Drew Lock was named the FedEx Air Player of the Week for Week 14 of the 2020 season.

Earlier Wednesday, Nix became the first rookie quarterback in franchise history to earn AFC Offensive Rookie of the Week honors.
