Mile High Morning: Where did Broncos players land in 'Madden NFL 25' ratings?

In anticipation of the 2024 NFL season and release of "Madden NFL 25," EA Sports unveiled ratings for players across the NFL throughout last week. Six Broncos earned overall ratings of 80 and higher, with cornerback Pat Surtain II leading the way with a 95-overall rating.

Guard Quinn Meinerz and left tackle Garett Bolles led the way for the Broncos' offensive line, earning overall ratings of 87 and 85, respectively. Meinerz received notable ratings in run block finesse (94), lead block (94) and strength (93), while Bolles earned his highest ratings in pass block finesse (90) and awareness (89). Right tackle Mike McGlinchey earned an 80 overall rating, with top individual ratings in toughness (95) and stamina (93).

Seventh-year player Courtland Sutton — who made a series of spectacular catches en route to catching 10 touchdowns in 2023 — led all of the Broncos' wide receivers with an 84 overall rating, boasting high ratings in spectacular catch (95) and jumping (93).

Javonte Williams earned the highest rating amongst the Broncos' running backs (80 overall), with excellent marks in carrying (92) and break tackle rating (92).

Inside linebacker Cody Barton (79 overall) and safety Brandon Jones (78 overall) led the ratings for Denver's defense along with Surtain. Barton boasts a 92 tackle rating while Jones boasts a 93 toughness rating as the two players enter their first seasons in Denver.
