The 2025 NFLPA survey was released Wednesday, and the Broncos received high marks in a number of categories.
The Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group earned particular recognition, as the team's ownership received an "A" grade and ranked fourth in the NFL.
According to the survey, Broncos players awarded Owner & CEO Greg Penner a 9.62 out of 10 score for his willingness to invest in the team's facilities. The Broncos are in the midst of a building a state-of-the-art training facility that is set to open in 2026 and will greatly increase the square footage of player-used spaces.
Broncos players also said they feel ownership "significantly contributes to a positive team culture" and that the group is "extremely committed to building a competitive team." The Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group ranked fifth among all NFL teams in both of those categories.
The Broncos also ranked in the top 10 in both nutrition and in quality of food and the dining area. Ninety-four percent of the Broncos' players reported that they get an individualized nutrition plan, which ranks sixth in the NFL. The taste of the team's food, meanwhile, ranked seventh in the NFL with a rating of 8.89 out of 10.
More than 90 percent of Broncos players believed the team has enough full-time trainers and physical therapists, both of which were top-10 marks in the league. In regards to travel, 98 percent of the Broncos' players reported having a comfortable amount of personal space on team flights, ranking third in the NFL.
The Walton-Penner Family Ownership Group's willingness to invest, meanwhile, should help the Broncos improve in other categories. The team has already constructed a family room at Empower Field at Mile High, and the new facility is set to address concerns regarding the size of the locker room and weight room.
