Pro Football Hall of Fame week is in full swing, and the Class of 2024 is set to be enshrined on Saturday.

And as former Broncos' linebacker Randy Gradishar takes his place in Canton, predictions are being made about who the next Broncos' inductees could be.

The Athletic recently took a look at the next likely candidates from each NFL team, and Ring of Fame Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan earned Denver's spot on the list.

"With a remarkable coaching tree that continues to shape his legacy, Shanahan is one of the strongest contributor candidates," Hall of Fame voter Dan Pompei wrote. "His offensive philosophy remains prevalent in the NFL, partly because his son Kyle has thrived using it."

The winningest coach in Broncos history, Shanahan is one of only seven coaches in NFL history to win back-to-back Super Bowls. Shanahan and Bill Belichick, along with active coach Andy Reid, are the only three coaches in that category to not yet be enshrined.

Shanahan led Denver to 46 wins and two championships from 1996-98, putting together one of the winningest stretches in NFL history.

A key influence on today’s NFL, Shanahan was a Hall of Fame Coach/Contributor semifinalist for the Class of 2024 and will be eligible for consideration again for the Class of 2025.
