The Lead
Following the 2025 NFL Draft, NFL Network's "Good Morning Football" crew selected a group of players they can't wait to see with their new team — and one of the newest Broncos made the list.
Running back Chase Edmonds, who spent a stint with the Broncos in 2022, called out second-round pick RJ Harvey as a player he's eager to see hit the field.
"I absolutely love this guy," Edmonds said. "You talk about juice, you talk about the ability to get skinny, get back out to the outside.
"Broncos Country, let me tell you something right now: Get your Kool-Aid ready, because this brother is bringing the juice."
Edmonds spent the 2024 season on IR with the Buccaneers, and he said Harvey reminds him of Tampa Bay running back Bucky Irving. As a rookie, Irving rushed for 1,122 yards and eight touchdowns. Irving led all rookie running backs in 2024, and Edmonds said he believes Harvey can make the "same type of impact" with the Broncos.
"RJ Harvey, he can go, man," Edmonds said. "He can go."
The Broncos' second-round pick, Harvey rushed for 1,577 yards and 22 touchdowns in 2024 as he earned first-team All-Big 12 honors. He posted 54 carries of at least 10 yards, and an FBS-best 23.3 percent of his rushes went for at least 10 yards.
"His running style — he's dynamic, really good vision, really good instincts, really good contact balance, highly explosive," General Manager George Paton said after selecting Harvey. "We thought maybe he had the best vision in the draft."
