Following a lockdown performance against the Raiders, Pat Surtain II earned a weekly ESPN honor.

On ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown," Surtain was named the winner of the Week 5 "Himmy Award."

Surtain recorded a 100-yard pick six and another interception in the Broncos' 34-18 win over the Raiders.

The Broncos' lockdown cornerback continued his strong start to the season, as he allowed just two catches in Week 5, according to Pro Football Focus.

ESPN wasn't alone in recognizing Surtain, as Kay Adams said on "Up & Adams" that Surtain is "the best corner in the business."

"[He's] the true shutdown corner of our generation," Adams said. "… There's no debate here. This is a slam dunk. This is the best corner in the NFL."

Adams also compared Surtain to Hall of Famer Darrelle Revis in his ability to lock down receivers.

Surtain earned Monday's "Himmy Award" over fellow finalists Kirk Cousins, Lamar Jackson and Caleb Williams.
