ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — A pair of Broncos starters did not practice Wednesday ahead of a Week 9 matchup with the Ravens.
Tackle Mike McGlinchey (knee) and safety P.J. Locke (thumb) were both held out of the Broncos' initial practice of the week.
McGlinchey played all but one snap against the Panthers in his second game back from a stint on injured reserve. Locke did not appear in the Broncos' Week 8 win and did not practice on Thursday or Friday ahead of Denver's game against Carolina.
Defensive end Zach Allen (not injury related - rest) and fullback Mike Burton (foot) were limited participants on Wednesday, as was Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee) in his return to practice. Turner-Yell remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Tackle Alex Palczewski (ankle) improved to a full participant for the first time since suffering his injury in Week 5. He was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers but was among the team's inactive players.
Cornerback Pat Surtain II (ankle) was also listed as a full participant on Denver's report.
The Broncos will announce another set of practice statuses on Thursday before releasing their game designations on Friday.
