ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — One of the Broncos' defensive starters has returned to practice ahead of a divisional tilt against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Safety P.J. Locke was a full participant in practice on Wednesday after missing Denver's last two games with a thumb injury.

Locke had not practiced since Wednesday ahead of Week 8, when he was listed as a limited participant.

Center Luke Wattenberg (ankle) and linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles) were both limited participants in their returns to practice. Both players opened the 21-day windows in which they must be activated from injured reserve and the Physically Unable to Perform list, respectively.

Defensive end Zach Allen (not injury related - rest) and tackle Mike McGlinchey (knee) were also listed as limited participants in Wednesday's practice.

Defensive tackle D.J. Jones (knee) and safety Delarrin Turner-Yell (knee) were also full participants on Wednesday. Turner-Yell remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list after returning to practice ahead of Week 9.

The Broncos will release another practice report on Thursday before announcing Week 10 game statuses on Friday.
