ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Cornerback Pat Surtain II was listed as a nonparticipant on the Broncos' Monday practice report ahead of a Week 7 game against the Saints.
The Broncos did not practice on Monday, which makes the report an estimation of players' participation if the team held a practice.
Head Coach Sean Payton said following Sunday's game that Surtain was in the NFL's concussion protocol. Surtain left Sunday's game on the Broncos' first defensive possession after breaking up a pass in coverage.
Surtain was the lone Broncos player to be estimated as a nonparticipant.
Cornerbacks Ja'Quan McMillian (ankle) and Riley Moss (hip) and tackle Alex Palczewski (ankle) were estimated as limited participants.
Palczewski did not practice ahead of the Broncos' Week 6 game and was ruled out for the game after suffering his injury in Week 5.
Inside linebacker Justin Strnad (ribs) and cornerback Damarri Mathis (ankle) were estimated as full participants. Mathis remains on injured reserve and must be activated to the 53-man roster to be eligible to play.
Denver will release another practice report on Tuesday before announcing its game statuses on Wednesday.
