Center Luke Wattenberg (ankle) and linebacker Drew Sanders (Achilles) were both limited participants in their returns to practice.

Both players participated in the media-viewing portion of Wednesday's practice.

Defensive end Zach Allen and running back Jaleel McLaughlin believe all the necessary pieces are in place for the Broncos to achieve their goals this season.

Since Browning was placed on injured reserve following Week 2, Nik Bonitto replaced him in the starting lineup and has recorded six sacks over the last seven games.

Plus, Payton spoke about Tuesday's impending trade deadline.

"We had [opportunities] that I think could've changed the momentum of the game," wide receiver Courtland Sutton said. "You just have to learn from it."

After missing the last three games, tackle Alex Palczewski is active for Denver.

This will mark the first time this regular season that the Broncos will wear this uniform combination.
