Wide receivers Lionel Taylor and Rick Upchurch, defensive end Rich "Tombstone" Jackson, linebackers Tom Jackson and Karl Mecklenburg, safety Dennis Smith and cornerback Louis Wright were all among the nominees.

"At the end of the day, we have an opponent coming here next weekend, and there's nothing we can do about the Seattle game now but make the corrections and things like that," defensive tackle Malcolm Roach said Monday.

Left tackle Garett Bolles exited Sunday's game during the fourth quarter and did not return.

Aldridge returned to the field to coach after his playing career, as he has served as the head football coach at Fort Bend Bush High School since 2008.

Wide receiver Devaughn Vele and outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper each reached statistical milestones in Denver's Week 1 matchup.

Denver will wear its Summit White jerseys, white pants and white socks for the team's regular-season opener against the Seahawks.
