ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added a defensive back ahead of Week 7.
Denver signed cornerback Quinton Newsome to the practice squad, the team announced Monday.
The Broncos released wide receiver Kaden Davis from the practice squad in a corresponding move.
Newsome returns to Denver's practice squad after being released ahead of Week 6. The Nebraska product spent the first five weeks of the 2024 season on Denver's practice squad after joining the Broncos as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft.
Newsome was an honorable mention All-Big Ten player in 2022 and 2023, starting 10 games as a senior and recording 37 tackles, three passes defensed, an interception and a fumble recovery.
