Broncos' preseason contests vs. Minnesota, Seattle set; Denver to participate in joint practices ahead Vikings game

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos' first two preseason games of the season are now officially set.

Denver will travel to play the Vikings on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. MT and face the Seahawks in Seattle on Saturday, Aug. 21 at 8 p.m. MT, the team announced Thursday.

The Broncos will also participate in a series of joint practices with the Vikings ahead of their preseason opener. The exact dates for the joint practices will be announced at a later date.

Denver has long been a proponent of joint practices. Prior to 2020, when joint practices were not permitted because of COVID-19 protocols, the Broncos had participated in joint practices each year from 2014-19.

The Broncos will practice with the Vikings for the first time, and it will be just the team's second joint practice away from Colorado since 2007.

All three of the Broncos' preseason game times have now officially been announced. The Broncos' preseason finale against the Rams, which is their lone home preseason contest, which kick off on Saturday, Aug. 28 at 7:05 p.m. MT.
