Broncos Ring of Fame head coach Mike Shanahan is among the nine semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2025, and Shanahan could soon take another important step toward Canton.

Nix is the first Broncos rookie to win the award since cornerback Pat Surtain II in 2021 and the team's first offensive player to earn the honor since running back Javonte Williams in that same season.

As the Broncos nearly pulled off an upset of the undefeated Chiefs, rookie quarterback Bo Nix caught the attention of the signal caller on the opposite sideline.

All 53 players on the Broncos' active roster practiced Wednesday as the team began its on-field preparation for Week 11 vs. the Falcons.

He has appeared in all 10 games for the Broncos this season.

Smith appeared in eight games for the Broncos this season and played 49 percent of Denver's special teams snaps in the games in which he appeared.

Nix's 115.3 passer rating was his highest in a road game in his young career.

"Obviously, a tough loss," Head Coach Sean Payton said. "I thought we played well on the road. … I felt like we outplayed them, but we didn't finish.

A 2022 fifth-round pick, Wattenberg started the Broncos' first five games of the season before suffering an ankle injury against the Raiders in Week 5.

"We have to go out there and find a way to win it," quarterback Bo Nix said this week.

Linebacker Drew Sanders, who remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list with an Achilles injury, was the lone player to be listed as a limited participant.
