ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Before the Broncos' regular-season schedule arrives, Denver will host a pair of preseason games as part of its three-game preseason slate.
Denver will welcome the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals to Empower Field at Mile High in Week 2 and Week 3 of the preseason, respectively. The Broncos will begin their preseason schedule with a road game against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Broncos will visit the Colts on Sunday, Aug. 11 at 1 p.m. ET, with the game airing on KTVD in Denver. In Week 2 of the preseason, the Broncos will host the Packers on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. MT on KUSA. Denver will close the preseason with a Sunday, Aug. 25 home matchup against the Cardinals at 2:30 p.m. MT on CBS.
Denver has not played the Colts in the preseason since 2005, and the team is also slated to host the Colts in the regular season. The Broncos have not played the same team in the preseason and regular season in the same year since 2018, when the Broncos visited Arizona twice.
The Broncos last faced the Packers in the preseason in 2017, while they visited the Cardinals to close the 2023 preseason. Denver played Arizona to end the preseason in eight of nine seasons from 2011-19.
