ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Third-round pick Lloyd Cushenberry III has agreed to terms on his four-year rookie contract, the team announced Wednesday.
Cushenberry is the eighth member of the Broncos' 2020 draft class to agree to terms. Michael Ojemudia agreed to terms Tuesday, and McTelvin Agim, Albert Okwuegbunam, Justin Strnad, Netane Muti, Tyrie Cleveland and Derrek Tuszka agreed to terms earlier Wednesday.
The 83rd-overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft was a second-team All-American in 2019 and a first-team All-SEC player. He also earned LSU's MVP honors and was a key piece of their offensive line, which was named the nation's best.
Cushenberry is expected to compete to be the team's starting center.
Cushenberry and the rest of the team's rookies are scheduled to report to UCHealth Training Center on Thursday for COVID-19 testing.
First-round pick Jerry Jeudy and second-round pick KJ Hamler are the only Broncos draft picks who have yet to agree to terms on their rookie deals.
