If their 'Madden 19' ratings are any indication, pass rusher Bradley Chubb and wide receiver Courtland Sutton will likely contend for 2018 Defensive and Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, respectively.
Chubb, the fifth-overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, also came in fifth in the video game's overall rookie ratings with an 80-overall rating, behind only guard Quenton Nelson (83 overall), running back Saquon Barkley (82), quarterback Baker Mayfield (81) and linebacker Roquan Smith (81). That overall rating was boosted by high ratings in speed (83), strength (91), finesse move (85), block shedding (87) and jumping (86).
Meanwhile, Sutton ranked as the game's fourth-best rookie receiver with a 75-overall rating. 'Madden' also gave him outstanding ratings in speed (89), spectacular catch (89) and catch in traffic (86).
