DENVER — Cornerback A.J. Bouye exited the Broncos' Week 1 game against the Titans with a shoulder injury just before halftime.
Bouye was in coverage on A.J. Brown when he dove to try to break up a pass with 54 seconds to play in the first half.
The starting cornerback was evaluated by trainers on the sideline and then went to the locker room.
After Bouye's injury, Bryce Callahan slid to the outside cornerback position and undrafted rookie Essang Bassey took over slot cornerback responsibilities.
UPDATE [10:02 p.m. MT]: Bouye was ruled out, the team announced. Running back Phillip Lindsay was deemed questionable to return with a foot injury. Lindsay's last carry was a 1-yard gain in the red-zone with just under five minutes to play in the first half.
UPDATE [10:29 p.m. MT]: Lindsay was ruled out with a foot injury.
UPDATE [11:45 p.m. MT]: Fangio clarified that Lindsay's injury was toe-related. He did not have specific details to share about either injury.
