ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos are expected to be without fifth-round pick Audric Estime until training camp, Head Coach Sean Payton announced Thursday.

The rookie running back, who exited practice a week ago with a knee injury, underwent a "small scope procedure" to ensure that there was no extensive damage, Payton said. Although his results came back clean, Estime will miss time recovering from the injury and the procedure before an expected return by the time training camp begins.

"He'll be available at the start of training camp," Payton said after the conclusion of the Broncos' second week of OTA sessions. "So we won't see him through the rest of these OTAs, but on the conservative side, he's going to be just fine. It was all good news. And he'll stay and rehab, but he'll be full go at the start of training camp."

Payton also told media that cornerback Riley Moss was sidelined on Thursday after tweaking his back.

"He had a muscle spasm in his back," Payton said. "It was still sore today. He'll probably be back out there Monday. Today was the first day he missed."
