The Broncos' top defensive pick from the 2024 NFL Draft has been honored for his rookie season.

"Bo was a pro the minute he walked in the building for rookie minicamp," General Manager George Paton said. "You saw the poise throughout the season, poise beyond his years."

"Obviously we're still not there yet, and yet we're a lot closer than we were at this time a year ago," Head Coach Sean Payton said.

Plus, Denver is prioritizing a "draft and develop" approach, while Head Coach Sean Payton is searching for a "Joker" playmaker. 

Penner also discussed the reaction to the team's new uniforms after their unveiling in 2024.

Nix led all rookie quarterbacks in completions, passing yards, touchdown passes and total touchdowns, and he ranked second in passer rating. His 29 touchdown passes were the second most by a rookie in league history.

"I plan on being a better player, a faster player, a stronger player [and a] smarter player," Singleton said. "And that's what a year off has given me. It'll be exciting to show that."

As Bo Nix reflected on his rookie season, the chance to gain valuable lessons from 18 starts across the regular season and playoffs was among the biggest takeaways from a prolific first campaign.

"I think we're headed in the right direction, and there's going to be a lot of guys here that are going to be part of it," tackle Mike McGlinchey said.

All 13 players finished the Broncos' season on the team's practice squad.

Denver has made the 20th-overall selection four times in franchise history.
