ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Veteran safety Shiloh Keo will miss the first two games of the regular season after being suspended for violating the NFL's Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse, the league announced Friday.

Keo may stay with the team through training camp and preseason to participate in practices and games, but his suspension will be implemented after the roster is cut to 53 players. He will be eligible to return to the active roster on Monday, Sept. 19 after the Broncos' Week 2 game against Indianapolis.

This is Keo's second year with the Broncos after being signed by Denver on Dec. 9, 2015.
