ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Following the best performance of his young career, quarterback Bo Nix is again among the nominees for the NFL's Rookie of the Week Award.

Nix has been nominated for the award four times through eight weeks, as he also earned the nod after wins over the Buccaneers, Raiders and Saints.
In a 28-14 win over the Panthers, Nix led the Broncos' offense to a season-high four touchdowns and set career bests in a number of statistical categories.
Nix set career highs in completions (28), completion percentage (75.7), passing yards (284), passing touchdowns (3), total touchdowns (4), passing yards per attempt (7.7) and passer rating (124.2).
He became the first quarterback in Broncos history to throw for three touchdowns and rush for a touchdown without throwing an interception, and Denver remains undefeated (5-0) in games in which Nix has not thrown an interception.
With the win — which featured three consecutive second-quarter touchdown drives — Nix set a franchise mark for the most wins by a rookie quarterback.
"I think we have it in our arsenal," Nix said Sunday of Denver's passing game. "We just have to go out there and execute it like we did. I thought we did a really good job of starting fast and doing it early. We caught a good rhythm there. Everybody on the field was making plays. Receivers, tight ends, running backs, it did not matter. The ball was being dispersed to a lot of positions, and I thought that was good. It is tough on a defense when we are getting all those guys the ball."
Nix did most of his damage in the first half, as he threw for 220 yards and recorded three total touchdowns before halftime. Nix attempted just 10 passes after the break, as the Broncos led by three scores for most of the second half.
Washington's Jayden Daniels, San Francisco's Isaac Guerendo, Arizona's Marvin Harrison Jr., the Los Angeles Chargers' Ladd McConkey and the New York Giants' Tyrone Tracy Jr. were also nominated for the award.
