The 2025 NFL Draft is now less than a month away, and NFL analysts are focusing on draft projections, including whom the Broncos could select with the 20th-overall pick in April's draft. As we near the start of Round 1, we've curated several recent mocks from national reporters and analysts to compile the following overview:

Round 1, No. 20 overall:

Daniel Jeremiah, NFL Network: RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

"Head coach Sean Payton loves running his offense through the tight ends, running backs and slot receivers. The Broncos landed their tight end via free agency in Evan Engram and now they get a back with some big-time juice." [March 18]

Mel Kiper Jr., ESPN: WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona

"McMillan would give Nix a sure-handed jump-ball artist who uses his great body control and physicality to make tough catches. He broke 1,300 receiving yards in each of the past two seasons." [March 18]

Joel Klatt, FOX Sports: WR Matthew Golden, Texas

"I know Sean Payton wants a running back, and his great offenses almost always have great dual-threat RBs, but I don't think there's a great one here to pick, with several options looming in Round 2. So, Golden's the pick. He was Texas' No. 1 receiver by the season's end and the focal point of its passing game down the stretch." [March 18]

Pete Prisco, CBS Sports: RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

"Sean Payton keeps talking about adding a 'joker.' That's his term for a playmaker who can do a lot of things. Hampton can be that guy. He is a home-run threat running back who can also run with power. After signing tight end Evan Engram, they will focus on running back with this pick." [March 25]

Chad Reuter, NFL.com: TE Tyler Warren, Penn State [Projected trade to No. 12 overall]

"Sean Payton takes advantage of teams overlooking Warren's skills, sending Denver's first- and second-round picks to Dallas for this selection and a fifth-rounder. The tight end brings great value to second-year signal-caller Bo Nix as a strong but nimble pass catcher who's able to move the chains, get down the seam and be a major red zone threat." [March 21]

Nate Tice and Charles McDonald, Yahoo! Sports: RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

"A bit of a luxury pick maybe, but Hampton would give the Broncos a steady and reliable RB1 for their offense — and form a strong trio with second-year running back Audric Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin." [March 25]

Mike Renner, CBS Sports: LB Jihaad Campbell, Alabama

"You want to see the most terrifying front seven in the NFL? Well, it would belong to Denver after nabbing the best all-around linebacker in the draft class to pair with Dre Greenlaw." [March 17]

Chris Trapasso, CBS Sports: RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

"Sean Payton gets a bell cow back in Hampton, who has the size and dynamic athleticism to star right away in Denver." [March 25]

Mike Tannenbaum, ESPN: RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

"Hampton is a great fit for Sean Payton's offense after an outstanding 2024 season (1,660 yards and 38 receptions). He can make defenders miss in the hole and has home run speed once he's free and clear (4.46 in the 40)." [March 25]

Connor Rogers, NBC Sports: WR Matthew Golden, Texas

"This Broncos offense starts to look pretty loaded if they can add one more wide receiver and a home run hitting back, so that's where we go here. Despite his sub 4.3 timed speed, I think Golden's best ability is the detail in his routes." [March 24]

Marcus Mosher, 33rd Team: WR Matthew Golden, Texas

"It seems like a foregone conclusion that the Broncos will take a wide receiver in Round 1, but who makes the most sense? Matthew Golden has the deep speed to scare defenses and was effective at creating separation on underneath routes." [March 20]

Josh Liskiewitz, Pro Football Focus: S Malaki Starks, Georgia

"Starks was a playmaker in the SEC for three straight seasons. He brings good football IQ, tackling and movement ability to play free, strong and slot." [March 24]

Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz, USA Today: RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

"The biggest question for Denver is whether it sees sufficient value in taking Hampton in the first round or would prefer to pursue a Day 2 alternative. But given how easily the powerful 6-0, 221-pound ball carrier could slide into this ascending attack, it's easy to see why this will remain a popular projection throughout the pre-draft process." [March 24]

Brent Sobleski, Bleacher Report: RB Omarion Hampton, North Carolina

"Hampton is a strong downhill runner, with a good burst/speed combination. He's a threat to gain chunk yardage anytime." [March 20]
