ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos' third-round pick has inked his first NFL deal.

Outside linebacker Jonah Elliss signed his four-year rookie contract on Tuesday, the team announced.

The Broncos selected Elliss with the 76th-overall pick in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Elliss earned second-team All-American and first-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2023 as he posted 12 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, three quarterback hits and a forced fumble in his final season with the Utes. Elliss' 12 sacks ranked second among all five Power Five players last season.

"He's an edge player that plays with energy, effort, all those things you look for," Head Coach Sean Payton said after drafting Elliss. "[He has] really good football makeup, good character."

Elliss is the sixth member of the Broncos' seven-player draft class to sign. Only fourth-round pick Troy Franklin has yet to sign his rookie contract.
