I was in the hospital this summer for a couple of surgeries. When I was there, they noticed that I liked the Broncos.
Today, I got to interview a Broncos player. When I got there, I first noticed the large banners hanging from the ceiling. Then, I got a tour of the facility. I got to see the meeting rooms and their indoor practice facility. It was huge! Then, we went to the cafeteria. When I was in the cafeteria, I saw John Elway and Brandon McManus. The cafeteria smelled like coffee. They had a lot of cereal in there!
After that, we went outside and I got to do my interview with Virgil Green. He was very tall! I learned some interesting things about him. Virgil realized that he wanted to play in the NFL when he was 20 years old. I asked him if he had any pets. He said that he has two dogs. One of his dogs is named "Reptar" from the Rugrats movie. He's had surgeries on his knee and finger. He showed me his scar on his finger. He told me that when he is not playing football, he likes to play video games. Virgil likes to dance to hip-hop and R&B music. He thinks that Von Miller might be a better dancer because Von has more experience! The best day of Virgil's life was when his son, Virgil Green III, was born. He sometimes gets nervous before games. He stated that he was a little nervous for the game last Thursday. Virgil's role model was his father. He said that his father was a great man and worked really hard. He wants to coach college football when he retires from the NFL.
After Virgil left, I met some other players. I met Demaryius Thomas, DeMarcus Ware, Max Garcia, Jordan Norwood, John Phillips, James Ferentz, Shaquil Barrett and Kapri Bibbs. (my Dad helped me with their names) I got autographs from all of them! They were very nice to me!
I had a great time! I want to thank Virgil Green, Christy, Melissa, Amanda, Children's Hospital Colorado and the Denver Broncos for showing me around!
