Pat Surtain II has added another honor to an already impressive career.

Surtain has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week following a two-interception performance against the Raiders in Week 5, the NFL announced Wednesday.

The honor represents the second time in Surtain's career that he has been named AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

The Broncos' standout cornerback swung the momentum of the game with a 100-yard pick six in the second quarter, which represented the second-longest defensive score in franchise history.

Surtain later deflected a pass and then hauled in the football to notch his second interception of the game.

According to Pro Football Focus, Surtain allowed just two catches in Week 5 against Las Vegas.

The Alabama product is the first Bronco to win Defensive Player of the Week honors since safety Justin Simmons earned the recognition following Denver's Week 8 win over the Chiefs last season.

Surtain was also named AFC Defensive Player of the Week following a two-interception performance against the Chargers during his rookie season.

The Broncos' defensive captain is one of just five Broncos to earn the honor multiple times since the award was initiated in 1984. Surtain joins Aqib Talib as the only Broncos cornerbacks to be named AFC Defensive Player of the Week multiple times, and only Von Miller (4x) and Karl Mecklenburg (3x) have earned the honor more times in franchise history.
