ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — In a pivotal home matchup with the Raiders, the Broncos are breaking out the blues.
Denver will wear its navy jerseys for the first time this season in their Week 6 home game against Las Vegas.
The Broncos will white pants with the navy jerseys. The team last wore this uniform combination in Week 1 of the 2020 season.
The navy jerseys are fitting for this weekend's game, as the Broncos will honor former head coach Mike Shanahan by inducting him into the team's Ring of Fame.
The Broncos first wore navy jerseys as their primary look in 1997, when Shanahan led the franchise to its first world championship. Shanahan led the Broncos to another Super Bowl title the following season.
Denver is also expected to wear its navy jerseys in Week 18 against the Chiefs.
