ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have elevated a pair of players for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Denver elevated inside linebacker Zach Cunningham and guard Nick Gargiulo from the practice squad to the active roster for a Week 12 game in Las Vegas, the team announced Saturday.
Cunningham has been elevated in each of the last two weeks, and he made his Broncos debut in a Week 11 win over the Falcons. The 2017 second-round pick recorded three tackles last week against Atlanta. Prior to arriving in Denver, Cunningham started 86 career games across time with three different organizations. He has posted 708 tackles, 31 tackles for loss, 13 quarterback hits, 6.5 sacks, five forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries in his career.
The 256th-overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, Gargiulo has spent the season on the Broncos' practice squad and has not yet appeared in a regular-season game. The 6-foot-5, 310-pound player started 12 games for South Carolina in 2023 after spending the 2018-22 seasons at Yale.
Denver is slated to face the Raiders at 2:05 p.m. MT on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium.
