ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — We've reached the final week of the regular season.
And as Denver prepares for its home finale against the Kansas City Chiefs, we're letting you know who to cheer for ahead of the start of the postseason.
Unlike previous weeks, there's no room for interpretation on any of the following games — and there's only three games that will make an impact on the Broncos' postseason chances.
As a reminder, the Broncos earn a postseason berth with a win or tie, and they'd need a pair of other results to go their way if they stumble against Kansas City.
Bengals at Steelers (Saturday, 6 p.m. MT on ESPN/ABC)
You should root for … the Steelers.
The Bengals are eliminated from playoff contention with a loss or a tie, which means they could be out of the race by the time the Broncos kick off on Sunday.
Broncos vs. Chiefs (Sunday, 2:25 p.m. MT on CBS)
You should root for … the Broncos.
Despite the Broncos' last two losses, Denver earns a playoff berth with a win over the Chiefs. There's still a path to the postseason even if Denver slips up, but the Broncos can remove all doubt and clinch a trip to Buffalo with a win over Kansas City.
Dolphins at Jets (Sunday, 2:25 p.m. MT on FOX)
You should root for … the Jets.
This game doesn't matter to the Broncos if Cincinnati wins on Saturday, but if the Bengals fall to the Steelers, this game could be significant. If the Dolphins were to lose — and the Bengals lose Saturday — then the Broncos are postseason bound regardless of the outcome in Denver.
