Reggie Walker ready to compete

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Linebacker Reggie Walker looks to add a diverse skill set to the Broncos with his addition to the team in free agency, he told DenverBroncos.com on Wednesday.

"I've had to play in multiple positions throughout my football career; I can do a lot," he said. "I think I can do a lot very well. Hopefully I can come out here and show that and I'm going to be ready to compete."

Walker was in the building to put ink to paper on his contract and to take a tour of the facility, which he found impressive 'like you're going to the big leagues."

In addition to helping shore up the Broncos' depth at linebacker and create more competition, Walker should help out in special teams, as well, and he sees success there firmly in his wheelhouse.

"I embrace every role. Whatever I do I go in, I do it 100 percent and I give it my best ability for the team," he said. "Special teams is all a mindset. It's all just about who's willing to work harder and I'm going to work as hard as I can so I'll be great at it."
