ENGLEWOOD, Colo. --Two more 2014 NFL Draft picks are now officially Denver Broncos.

Hours after seventh-round pick Corey Nelson inked his new contract, second-round wide receiver Cody Latimer and sixth-round offensive lineman Matt Paradis signed their contracts.

Latimer, who the Broncos traded up in the second round to select, grabbed at least one catch in all 32 of his career games at Indiana.

He was named second-team All-Big Ten by the media and honorable mention by the coaches after his 2013 campaign.

Indiana's Anthony Thompson Most Valuable Player in his junior season, Latimer led the Hoosiers with 72 receptions for 1,096 yards.

"We really liked the complete package," Executive Vice President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway said during the draft. "Really the cherry on top of the sundae was how he goes about and plays the game. He was the best blocking wide receiver, by far, in the draft. He took pride in what he did. He took pride in blocking. To me, that's what separated him. There's a bunch of other really good wide receivers, but what really got our attention was the way he took pride in what he did as far as blocking and then as you said, he's got great hands. He's got great speed. He's big and he's tough. He's a complete wide receiver."

Paradis, a second-team All-Mountain West honoree after his senior season, started all 25 games possible in his final two seasons at Boise State. All of those starts came at center.

He was part of an offense that ranked ninth nationall in red-zone offense, 16th in scoring offense, 21st in first downs, 24th in total offense, 31st in passing offense and 32nd in rushing offense in 2013.

"We really thought that he had the potential," Elway said. "We had a great grade on him. The only thing that dropped that was we only thought he was 280 pounds, but when we found out he was 300 pounds or 305 pounds, we were much happier to hear that and we knew at that point in time that he was going to be high on our list."

Monday's three rookie signings leave just first-round cornerback Bradley Roby, third-round offensive lineman Michael Schofield and fifth-round linebacker Lamin Barrow as the Broncos' unsigned 2014 NFL Draft picks.
