By the Numbers: Ty Sambrailo

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.-- Numbers often can't fully define offensive linemen, but these figures show second-round pick Ty Sambrailo to be a serious athlete:

4.58 - Sambrailo's 20-yard shuttle time at the scouting combine, tied for sixth-fastest among all offensive linemen in attendance.

5.36 - Time in the 40-yard dash at the combine.

5 - Seasons spent ski racing during his childhood. The California native was a natural, winning the USSA's overall award in the Far West region (California, Nevada and Oregon) at age 12. Sambrailo also says he can still do a backflip and a few other tricks on skis.

6'6" - Sambrailo's height, tied for the tallest Bronco other than 6-foot-8 Brock Osweiler.

7.54 - Time in the three-cone drill at the combine, good for fifth among all O-linemen in attendance.

10 - Diameter of his hands, in inches.

11 - Rushing yards gained in his college career, which he picked up on a trick-play carry as a junior.

23 - Reps of 225 pounds performed in the bench press at the combine.

29 - Vertical leap in inches at the combine.

48 - Total games played for the Rams in four seasons, 42 of which he started.

311 - Sambrailo's weight at the combine.

Many Broncos fans in Colorado may already be somewhat familiar with second-round pick Ty Sambrailo, but for those who aren't, here is a visual history of his collegiate career at Colorado State.
