After a slow start and some of the usual rookie hang-ups, Chubb became a force in the second half of the season. Chubb led all rookies with 12 sacks on the season.

He started off his coaching career at Dunmore under his head football coach Jack Henzes. Now 82 years old, Henzes continues to coach the Bucks football program.

"He is a passionate guy about football," Fangio said. "He gets me on the phone, he wants to learn the new things, 'what are you doing here?', if he's having a problem with something [and] how to solve it. He's never lost his passion or his energy for football."

When new Broncos coach Vic Fangio conducts organized team activities this spring, tight end Jake Butt wants to be on the field following completion of his third ACL rehabilitation.

Even before this week, a little piece of Vic Fangio's heart had been wedged into the Rampart Range for decades. Tony Fangio, the older brother of the Broncos' new coach by five years and the second-oldest of the four sons of Victor and Alice Fangio, moved here in 1978.

Vance Joseph, who spent one season as an NFL defensive coordinator with the Dolphins in 2016 and spent the past two seasons head coach of the Broncos, has agreed to join the Cardinals' staff and run the team's defense, the team formally announced on Friday.

The Cardinals on Sunday announced the hirings of four more assistant coaches to new head coach Kliff Kingsbury's staff. They are Sean Kugler as offensive line coach, Brian Natkin as assistant offensive line coach, David Raih as wide receivers coach and Steve Heiden, who will return as tight ends coach.
